Underground Electrical Installs

We have a long history of providing quality underground electrical installation services to our customers. The installation of underground conduit is a complex process that requires careful planning and execution. At Midway we are committed to providing our customers with the highest quality service.

As local New Englanders susceptible to outages during high winds, thunderstorms, heavy snow, and ice storms we are familiar with uncovering and starting up those generators. Undergrounding is exactly as it sounds; it is the replacement of overhead cables with underground cables. Typically made of PVC, steel, or concrete, underground conduit keeps cables and wires organized, easy to access, and reduces damage caused from weather, erosion, traffic, animals, and vandalism.

Asphalt Milling & Paving

Asphalt milling and paving are two important processes in the construction and maintenance of roads, parking lots, and other paved surfaces.

At Midway the safety of the employees is our top priority! We provide:

Employee training: Midway provides all employees with comprehensive safety training. This training covers a variety of safety topics, including hazard recognition, safe work practices, and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Job hazard analysis: Midway conducts job hazard analyses (JHAs) for all job tasks. JHA’s identify and assess the hazards associated with each job task and develop controls to mitigate those hazards.

Incident investigation: Midway investigates all incidents that occur in the workplace. Incident investigations identify the root causes of incidents and develop corrective actions to prevent similar incidents from happening in the future.

PPE: Midway provides all employees with the PPE they need to do their jobs safely. Employees are required to wear PPE at all times.

Safety audits: Midway conducts regular safety audits to ensure that the company’s safety program is effective. Safety audits identify areas where the safety program can be improved.

Safety culture: Midway has a strong safety culture. Employees are encouraged to report hazards and near misses. Employees are also rewarded for their safety efforts.
