The ideal candidate will coordinate and execute day-to-day utility and paving operations via daily communication with the construction manager, construction controller, site supervisors and foreman. The candidate MUST have experience in the construction industry, be task oriented with attention to detail to organize and ensure project success.

Provide business and administrative support to facilitate the planning, coordination, and tracking of activities for designated projects to ensure that all needs for labor and materials are met.
Evaluates project schedules and will update and determine appropriate modifications and resources to reflect project’s needs as they arise to ensure timely completion.
Duties include the following:
- Manage workflow production of crews and equipment moves.
- Direct communications and deliverables for each project, tracking of materials and equipment.
- Audit end of day reports for accuracy and gather missing information.
- Prepare and distribute internal weekly reports such as daily production reports.
- Monitor GPS system on units.
- Audit fuel cards and usage.
- Maintain Operator Qualification (OQ) Program. Facilitate employee’s curriculum and assign requirements per skill set.
- Order Police details and flaggers.
- Attend weekly scheduling meetings.
- Interact with and report progress to utility customers.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of construction project experience.
- Equipment and vehicle knowledge (dump trucks, trailers, compressors, generators, low bed, milling machine, paver, backhoes, skid steer, etc.).
- Operations and/or scheduling background.
- Self-motivated and ability to work independently.
- Highly task oriented.
- Strong time management skills with ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Problem solving skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel).
- Computer literate.
